Patagonia

Some years ago arrived a couple of Argentineans and transformed and old grocery store (almacén) in a rustic & cool restobar. Patagonia is a great deal for any type of meal. At lunch time it has a special menu, and it´s offer goes from exotic meat such as: cordero y el ciervo magallánicos or jabalí. Nice place to go!!!

Also it has it´s own store if you want to take something back home.

Santiago Restaurant -La picada del guatĂłn

This is a typical fast food restaurant located in Bustamante street with Mujica. There you may find the biggest sandwiches late at night. We recommend going there if you are starving after parting. You may find a huge (actually 3-4 people can eat from it!!!) sandwich of meat with avocado and tomato at $3,800!!!! 7US$ The beauty of this place is that it is served by the owner… “El GuatĂłn”. Actually every one there is fat!!! So if you want to have a faty meal at night, this is the place to go. Enjoy it!

La Piojera

“La Piojera” is one of the most famous & popular bars in Santiago. Right next to Mercado Central and named after a President of Chile Arturo Alessandri Palma, who said “who brought me to this piojera”.

You can´t leave without trying the Terremoto (pipeño, fernet and pineapple icecream) and it´s replica. Only for people who love getting mixed with chilean culture.
