This saturday (and every saturday of summer) Hostal Providencia is organizing with other hostels in Santiago a Pool Party . We leave from the hostel a 9 am to a cool house with a huge patio, trees and big pool. Here you have included  transport (return 19hrs. ) borgoña (wine with fruit), beer , bbq / asado / salads / mineral water / juices!!! and offcourse music, dancing and a day party to enjoy the heat of Santiago.

The winter season in Santiago has already started!

Last week we had the first rains of the year in Santiago and the first snow covered the mountain tops so it’s time to escape the city and spend a day up in top… enjoy some skiing, snowboarding or just relax in the snow.

Close to Hostel Providencia you will find “Les Assassins”, a bar/restaurant inspired by a famous typical French bistro in Paris called “Aux Assassin”. Opened in 1965, this authentic restaurant is cosy, family friendly and perfect for a nice dinner with lovely french background music. Their special plates are “Soupe a l’Oignon”, “Atún Meuniere”, “Steak au Poivre”, “Boeuf Bourguignon” and the “Lenguado en Salsa de Jaivas”. The staff speaks French and English. It is not the cheapest dinner option you can get, but definitely worth trying! Bon Appétit !!!
